Manual Technology: Repairing the License

In this exercise, you repair the PhotoPrint‑manual license.

To repair the manual license

1.

Click Licenses > Licenses. The Support Licenses and Maintenance page appears.

On the Support Licenses and Maintenance page, search for and select the check box next to the product PhotoPrint‑manual fulfillment.

Click Support Actions and select Repair from the drop-down menu. The Support Licenses And Maintenance page refreshes with the PhotoPrint‑manual fulfillment information.

Click Verify to verify the validity of the license. This message appears: License is valid.

Click Repair. The Generated Licenses page appears with updated PhotoPrint‑manual fulfillment information. Type is ON-HOLD (denoted by the N icon). This message appears: License text has not been set for some of the fulfillments generated. The administrator has been notified. You will receive an email when the license is ready to download.

On the Generated Licenses page, click Complete. The Support Licenses And Maintenance page appears.

Search for and select the check box next to the on-hold product PhotoPrint‑manual fulfillment, then click Set License. The Set License For Fulfillment window opens.

Browse to the PhotoPrint‑manual license file, then click OK. The Set License For Fulfillment window closes. The Support Licenses And Maintenance page is refreshed and the PhotoPrint‑manual fulfillment is no longer on hold.

9.

Click Entitlements > List Entitlements by Order, search for the product ENTL‑manual entitlement, then click on the ENTL‑manual link. The Entitle Customers to Licenses page appears.

10.

Under Line Items, on the Line Items tab, click the Fulfill History link of the PhotoPrint‑manual line item. The Fulfillment History window opens.

11.

Review the fulfillment history for the PhotoPrint‑manual line item. Note that it was repaired, generated and put on hold, and reactivated. Click OK when you are done to close the Fulfillment History window.
